Glitzy and Glamorous 2012

I can hardly believe it's almost time to ring in the year 2012! As always getting dressed up, drinking champagne and celebrating with friends is always the plan. So if your getting all dolled up but not sure what to wear here are a few of my favorites.

Holiday Travel

The holidays are all about friends, family and traveling. I head home today, as much as I am excited to see the people I love the thought of going through airport security makes me cringe. I found a few pictures that erase all the bad, and replace them with thoughts of high fashion and warm weather.

Bergdorf Holiday Window 2011

In NYC each department store decks out their windows in a magical theme ever holiday season. Each year the anticipation of the unveiling has now marked the start of the holiday season for both myself and many others who come from all over to see the fantastic creations. Bergdorfs has by far outdone themselves this year with the "Carnival of Animals"- that not even pictures can do it justice.

Daphne Guinness

I unfortunately missed the McQueen exhibit at the Met, so when I heard about Daphne Guinness putting some of her wardrobe on display in the FIT Musuem for free I knew I couldn't pass it up. I was told pictures were not allowed, so I  found some pictures of garments that were on display. Everything was so amazing, and each a piece of art in it's own way. She is truely an icon by taking such amazing risks with fashion.

CHLOË MORETZ

Ever since I saw the movie "Kick Ass" I have thought Cloe Moretz was the cutest thing ever. I recenlty saw her on Chelsea Lately and loved her sacrastic 'kick-ass' attutude; along with her fantastic stlye she is deinfately a girl to watch. Style Star in the making? I think so.

"In love with the city" describes exactly how I feel. The fashion is beautifully colorful, and perfect for fall. Karlie Kloss is stunning in each picture, and is becoming on of my favorite models. I simply want and need all these garments, in my closet!

I read an article the other day that Tangerine Tango is the official Pantone color for 2012. From Tangerine to Electric Red-Orange's I'm sure you will see plenty of it this upcoming season.
