It was a wonderful sunny Saturday perfect for checking out new neighborhoods.  The first stop of the day was shopping around the Brooklyn Flea, and trying the Milk Trucks gourmet grilled cheese. Second stop was finding a random place for coffee to feed our caffeine addiction we ended up at Christine's Cafe in Fort Greene for some Cappuccino Smoothies and their garden patio which hit the spot. Possibly the highlight of my day was finally taking the East River Ferry the cost was $4.00 , and was a great ride from Dumbo to Pier 11!

What better to do on a Friday night other than Karaoke. A group of us gathered at Japas27 to enjoy unlimited Sake- Beer and Wine along with a smorgasbord of Sushi. After a few Sake bombs we all decided to test our vocal cords- needless to say no one would win American Idol.  

Fashion's Night Out

It is that time of year again where I officially start counting down the days until Fashion's Night Out! Last year was my first year attending the very anticipated night, where New Yorkers come to out share their love for fashion. I have been patiently awaiting the list of store participants so I can plan my night, September 8th can not come soon enough! More to come on my 2nd FNO experience.

Boston Bound

After a few very hot weeks in the city I was dying to get out and visit friends. Boston was the place of choice this weekend to see my girls Emily and Sarah. There were a few clouds in the sky but a perfect temperature for a beach day filled with 'lawn' games, cocktails, and a lots of laughs. All in all it was a great fun filled weekend, and for once I came back relaxed!

Wine, Sea and 23

A few of us girls went out for my friends 23rd birthday last week. The weather was great and the company even better.  Set in Brooklyn was this quaint French Oyster Bar with a lovely outdoor garden patio, and dollar oysters you just couldn't pass up.
