November 21st at 12PM marked the grand opening of 'GaGa's Workshop' a collaboration between Lady Gaga and Barney's. A few of my friends decided to go see what all the buzz was about; as we waited fans in line were showered with Baked by Mellisa Cupcakes, and Hot Cocoa to keep warm. Luckily we were the first 25 in the door, we entered onto the 5th floor of Barney's into the zany, colorful world of GaGa. There were signature pieces from stockings, cookies, apparel, to ornaments.
P.S. I made this teamed up with Frye Boot Company to hold a DIY Event in their Soho Flagship store. They gave us pieces of Leather, shoes strings, O-rinds, hooks that Frye supplied. We could design anything from jewelry to key chains. It was fun getting to mingle with everyone and seeing the great pieces people came up with. Check out below I made a two-tone bow headband (also featured here), and a necklace with O-rings. If you haven't yet check out P.S. I made this there are some pretty fantastic ideas on the blog.

A while ago I found this brown felt hat with real feathers at a flea market in Brooklyn. The hat happened to go perfectly with my white fur vest, that belonged to my dad-so groovy! It was way to big but I shortened, took it in, and put in a chocolate brown lining to update it a bit.
The iconic Muppet has been out of the spotlight for years but now she's back, and in a fierce way. Check her out in some fantastic designer clothes for Instyle Magazine's November issue.
