SAG Awards 2012

The Screen Actors Guild Awards took place this past Sunday, in the Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. The red carpet was full of gorgeously dressed woman, and dapper looking men. As the second of the three major award shows I like to watch, comparing their style choices from the last award show is always fun. Some made great choices while others, I was less impressed with.

Stop and smell the Cappuccino

I had a great weekend with my girls,  we stopped into a small cafe to catch up and grab a cup of cappuccino. Sad the weekend is over, but excited to explore new places to eat today thanks to restaurant week! This weeks Monday stop: David Burke's Kitchen.

Fashion Spotlight

Luisa Bianchin by Alexander Neumann for L'Officiel Paris February 2012

Fashion spotlight: Spring Siesta

I'm loving the bright lip stick and peachy colored nails in these pictures. This make me want to go travel the European countryside in a 1950's red convertible. Not to mention who couldn't the patterned silk scarves, and definitive 50's silhouettes.

Miroslava Duma

{ Galaxy Dress by Kane}

Last year I was introduced to the style of Miroslave Duma by a friend. I was shocked that I had never heard of her before, considering what great street style she has. What I like about this Russian cutie it-girl is that she's put together but her style is so attainable for those who don't have a ton of money to spend on clothing. Here are a few of my favorite looks, that I would like to try but with my own twist on them.

This weeks spotlight: Dressed to Kill

Pauline Van Der Cruysse, Cate Underwood, Nikole Luna & Amanda Ware by Benjamin Lennox for V #75

This was for the music issue of V Magazine, the dresses are über sexy and I thought the faces painted like Kiss were awesome. Just for comparison reasons below is a picture of the real Kiss.

Betty White- America's Golden Girl

Happy 90th Birthday to Betty White!

Thanks to my mom and grandma I was introduced to Betty Whites comedic brilliance at a young age, since then I have always loved her. Bless her for still working it and keeping people laughing at the young age of 90. Here is to many more birthdays ahead.

Nutella Croissants

Last weekend I went on a search for French Pastries with a friend, which resulted in purchasing a dry American baked good. Still  trying to fulfill that chocolate filled croissant craving I opted to make my own Nutella Croissants. Turns out they are very easy and fast to make.

You will need:
(1) Package of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
(1) Jar of Nutella

Place a spoonful of Nutella into the Crescents roll dough. Roll them up and place onto a greased baking sheet (I used Pam).

Heat oven to 375 degrees and bake for 10-12 min or until golden brown.

Next time I will put a glaze on top made out of melted butter and egg (you live and learn)!

Dianna Agron

{Interview Magazine}

{Flaunt Magazine}

{Nylon Magazine}

Dianna Agron has gone  from Glee High School cheerleader to sexy and sophisticated rising star in no time. Above are a few of my favorite magazine editorials of the actress; sporting  70's 'Modern Mod' to racy lingerie this girl can wear anything and make it look good.
