This weekend I am heading to Washington DC for a much needed girls weekend. I can assure you there will be plenty of gossip, and wine flowing. We all might be more excited for this than Christmas Day. Personally I'm just happy to get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC for a few nights and relax. I'm only going for a couple nigths and it's only going to be in the high 60's low 70's so packing shouldn't be to much of a challenge; a few light sweaters, jeans, and a dress for a nice dinner out with the girls.

Spring Time

Happy First Day of Spring! 

 

It's slightly cloudy here in NYC today, but the air is warm and just the thought of sunshine, light rains, and picnics to come makes me smile!

Spring has Sprung

 Saturday happened to be a beautiful Spring day, all the tree's and flowers are blooming earlier than usual so a walk through Central Park was a must.  A friend and I were on our way through to see the NYC St. Patrick's Day Parade, and had to stop and take some photo's.

The first day of Spring is tomorrow, I for one am very excited to see warmer weather, and put away that Winter coat!

Rays of Sun

Yesterday started day light savings so getting up was slightly rough this morning. Once I opened the shades and saw the sun my Monday morning blues went away. Hopefully this weather will last, and the Spring weather is here to stay (who knows though it's NY)!

Looking through Pinterest I found this picture, I mean what better feeling is there than the warm rays of sunshine streaming through the window onto your skin? This photo makes me so excited for warm weather.

84th Academy Awards

This year I took it upon myself to watch some of the nominated movies, and ended up getting through a handful such as The Artist which was quite entertaining and a huge risk to take these days which I appreciated, I also watched Moneyball, and The Descendants. I was so glad Billy Crystal was hosting again this year, I always seem to enjoy his hosting abilities (keep to the classics).  As for the fashion, the red carpet is my favorite part who doesn't love analyzing celebs fashion choices? This year the carpet was full of whites, bold reds, and Oscar golds.
