London Olympics 2012

The Summer Olympics in London is quickly approaching and I for one cannot wait. The opening ceremonies are July 27th, and I'm interested to see what they bring to the table. Summer Olympics has to be my favorite I love to watch the swimming, gymnastics, and diving. I find watching these men and woman compete simply amazing.

Weekend Wanderers

This weekend was beautiful outside, the temperature finally dropped  to a comfortable 80 degrees. Still hot out friends and I hung out in Central Park, but made our way down to West Village for some New Orleans style Sno-Balls at Imperial Woodpecker.

Concerts, weekend trips, outdoor cocktails, traveling to beaches- So far it's been a hectic and fast June, it seems like every weekend I have something to do. The other day I finally had some time to relax, so I headed to Central Park with my girl Meg and catch some rays.

Well Hello Sailor

It's Fleet Week the time of year all us NYC ladies get to swoon over cute sailors in their dress whites. No worries it is perfectly okay to pretend you're in the SATC episode (you know which one). Personally I find it hard not to stare at them when they walk in the door, especially since they travel in packs. Over the course of Memorial Day weekend there are lots of events going on, I suggest you go check them out  you may even bag yourself a sailor or at least a party invite!

Preakness 2012

A few friends and I went down to DC and Baltimore this past weekend. We lucked out with the weather again this year and had a beautiful hot sunny day. There were great concerts such as Maroon 5, Wiz Khalifa, and The Darkness. We all roamed the infield but met up to see the main race, I'll Have Another won again which means the Belmont in a few weeks is a big deal- Lets hope for a Triple Crown winner (which hasn't happened since 1978).

Middle of the Road

It's Wednesday middle of the week or some like to call it 'hump day'. I've been counting down the days until my annual kick-off- summer weekend arrives. Finally after today I will head down to DC and then back up to Balitmore to enjoy the Preakness with friends.I just have to get past today!!
