New Series: Oh, I've been here!

In NYC there are so many restaurants, bars,  and stores it's hard for me to keep track of which ones I been to and when. This new series is called Oh, I've been here! Primarily because the other night I was out and knew the bar seemed familiar, then it hit me I've been to this place before.

The Place: The Brooklyneer

The Neighborhood: West Village

 

I really enjoyed this bar, and it's a shame I tend to forget about it. Not set right in the heart of the Village but south of it, the Brooklyneer tends to skip my mind. I for one really liked the ambiance of the bar and will definitely be back.

 

 

 

 

 

Stay Strong

Last week the Tristate area and New Jersey were rocked by Super Storm Sandy. Many people lost their homes, and the lives they had built. I feel for these people and know they need all the help they can get. Please help them by donating to the American Red Cross.

Vacation Part II

 

 

Brewery Time!! The one thing I was really excited about doing was trying a few of the local breweries. We first stopped at Anaheim Brewery's tasting room before heading to The Bruery. I tried lots of good beers, and even got a complimentary glass. The family and I then decided to keep the almost Oktoberfest trend going and made Oktoberfest Pizza Delicious (Recipe to come).

Vacation Part 1

A few weeks ago I went on a much needed vacation to Southern California. The main reason my mom and I went out west was because of my cousin wedding. The wedding was absolutely beautiful, set at Disneyland in a garden for the ceremony and the reception taking place at the Californian Hotel across the street. The food was really great possibly the best wedding chicken ever! The Bride and Groom looked lovely and so happy! Later that week being so close to Disneyland we had to tour each of the parks -great family bonding time!

Fashion Week Spring 2013

Up,Up and Away

Today I am off to Anaheim, Ca to visit family. I'm going with my mom, and am so excited to get away. We have lot of events planned including my cousins wedding, Venice Beach, fresh seafood, and of course Disneyland!

 

 

 

 

Usually I pack my suitcases to the brim, and I barely make the weight limit. This time I only have one suitcase, and I have to admit I'm very proud of myself.  

Monday Kind of Feeling

Even though it's Tuesday it sure feels like a Monday! I'm so happy it's a short week and I'm off to Cali in 3 days, but right now coffee is what's getting me through today.
